FAQ.

BOOKING & PAYMENT

────────────────────────────────────────

Q: What is a specialist virtual consultation?

A: A specialist virtual consultation is a paid, one-on-one session with a qualified member of our team. You choose the expert you need — from an architect or structural engineer to a feasibility analyst or permit specialist — and use the session to get focused, professional guidance on your specific project challenge. Sessions are held via Google Meet or Zoom.

Q: How do I book a session?

A: Fill out the intake form on this page, select your preferred specialist and date, then click the Pay button next to your chosen specialist to complete payment via PayPal. Once we receive both your form submission and your payment, we will confirm your time slot and send your meeting link within 24 hours.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept payment via PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account — PayPal accepts major debit and credit cards including Visa and Mastercard at checkout. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session.

Q: What happens after I pay?

A: Our team will review your intake form and reach out within 24 hours to confirm your exact session date and time. You will receive a Google Meet or Zoom link ahead of your call, along with a brief preparation note so you know what to have ready.

Q: Can I book more than one specialist for the same project?

A: Yes. Many projects require input from multiple disciplines. A residential developer may benefit from separate sessions with an architect, a structural engineer, and a feasibility analyst, for example. Each session is booked and paid for independently. If you plan to book multiple sessions, mention this in your intake form and we will sequence them in the most logical order for your project.

SESSION DETAILS

────────────────────────────────────────

Q: How long is a consultation session?

A: Session lengths vary by specialist. Architect, Structural Engineer, Project Manager, Feasibility and Investment Analyst, and Permit and Compliance Specialist sessions are 60 minutes. Interior Designer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, and Sustainability Consultant sessions are 45 minutes. The duration is shown clearly next to each specialist on this page.

Q: Do I need to prepare anything before my session?

A: Yes, and the more you prepare, the more you will get out of the call. We recommend having any relevant drawings, site photos, contractor quotes, BOQs, or planning documents available to share. A clear list of your top questions is equally important. Our specialist will review your intake form before the call so they arrive informed, but strong preparation on your end makes the session significantly more productive.

Q: Can I upload documents or drawings with my booking form?

A: Yes. The intake form includes an optional file upload field where you can attach drawings, photos, structural reports, BOQs, or any other relevant documents. Uploading materials in advance means your specialist can review them before the session rather than using session time for document review.

Q: Will I receive anything after the session?

A: Yes. Following your consultation, your specialist will send you a written summary of the key recommendations and action points discussed during the call. This is included in the cost of your session and is typically delivered within 48 hours of the consultation.

Q: Can a virtual consultation replace a full project engagement?

A: A consultation is designed to give you expert direction on a specific challenge — it is not a substitute for a full design, engineering, or construction management engagement. That said, many clients use consultations as a valuable first step to clarify their project scope, challenge a contractor's advice, or validate a decision before committing to a full engagement.

SPECIALIST SELECTION

────────────────────────────────────────

Q: What if I am not sure which specialist I need?

A: Here is a quick guide to help you decide:

   - Building a home or commercial space? Architect

   - Concerned about your structure or foundation? Structural Engineer

   - Planning electrical systems or solar? Electrical Engineer

   - Need HVAC or plumbing advice?  Mechanical Engineer

   - Redesigning an interior space? Interior Designer

   - Managing contractors or costs? Project Manager

   - Assessing a property investment? Feasibility and Investment Analyst

   - Navigating permits and approvals? Permit and Compliance Specialist

   - Building sustainably or going green? Sustainability Consultant

Q: Do you offer consultations for projects outside Kenya?

A: Yes. Our virtual consultations are available to clients worldwide. We regularly work with clients across East Africa — including Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda — as well as diaspora clients based in the UK, US, Canada, and UAE who are investing in property back in the region. Permit and compliance sessions are most applicable to Kenya and East Africa, while all other specialist sessions apply globally.

CANCELLATIONS & CONFIDENTIALITY

────────────────────────────────────────

Q: What is your cancellation and refund policy?

A: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your scheduled session qualify for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session are non-refundable but may be rescheduled once at no additional charge. No-shows without prior notice are non-refundable. To cancel or reschedule, contact us by email as early as possible.

Q: Is my consultation confidential?

A: Yes. All information shared during your session — including project details, financial figures, drawings, and documents — is treated with strict confidentiality. We do not share client information with third parties. If required, we are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) prior to your session.
